Die Irritierte Stadt
Festival of the arts
20th – 26th July 2020
DIE IRRITIERTE STADT brings the contemporary arts – dance, theatre, music, film as well as literature and the visual arts – into exchange with each other. And the arts enter into dialogue with urban society, move out into the urban space and develop perspectives for living together in the city. Over the next few months, more than 20 performances, actions, city walks and installations will be created in collaboration with artists and Stuttgart’s citizens, which can be experienced throughout the city of Stuttgart.
Supported by TANZPAKT Stadt-Land-Bund with funds from the German Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media, the City of Stuttgart and the Baden-Württemberg Foundation.
A project by Akademie Schloss Solitude, Freie Tanz- und Theaterszene Stuttgart, Musik der Jahrhunderte, Produktionszentrum Tanz und Performance, Theater Rampe and the Cultural office of the state capital Stuttgart within TANZPAKT Stuttgart.
